Obituary for Charlton Stuart Budd

Charlton Stuart Budd
Charlton "Charlie" Budd
December 6, 1972 - Monday, January 1, 2018

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Charlton “Charlie” Stuart Budd on January 1, 2018. Born on December 6, 1972 in Gillam, Manitoba, Charlie exhibited an adventurous spirit from an early age that was only outmatched by his mischievous side; pranks weren’t too far from him – even into adulthood. While his sense of adventure took him down many paths in the trades and service sectors (primarily iron-working), Charlie always nurtured his creative side and had a special passion for graphic design and videography that he discovered while attending journalism school.

His adventurous spirit also took him across the country, having lived at various cities from British Columbia to Ontario. Charlie’s sociable personality cultivated countless long-lasting friendships along life’s journey. However, his identity as a brother and son always brought him back home to his family whom he loved deeply.

Charlie’s greatest joy in life was his lil’ monkey, daughter Monica Budd-Payer (mother, Jade Payer). While Charlie loved his immediate family with the width and breadth of his heart, it was only through becoming a parent that he truly understood the depth of his love.

Charlie is survived by his parents Isabel Cuerrier (Charles) and Stuart Budd; and his siblings Edward Budd (Katherine), Rina Hees (Christopher) (nee Pomart), and Peter Pomart (Brenda). Charlton was predeceased by his step-father Peter Pomart (Sr.) and sister Starr Pomart.

Please join our circle of family and friends as we Celebrate Charlie’s Life at 1:00 pm on Saturday January 27, 2018 at Choice Memorial Funeral Home (105-4715 13th Street NE, Calgary). To view and share photos, condolences and stories of Charlton please visit www.choicememorial.com.
