Obituary for Timothy Fennessy

Timothy Fennessy
Timothy "Tim" Fennessy
December 19th, 1963 - May 6th, 2018

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Tim Fennessy at the age of 54 at Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary.

Tim was predeceased by his loving Mom, Della Mallard and will be truly missed by his long-time partner, Debbie Vey, (daughter Samantha, son Nathaniel); Daughter, Paulina Fennessy, (fiance Billy); Sister, Sheri Hisch and her daughters, Kelsey, Tanya and Lindsay; Best friend, Jig Mallard (Roxanne) and their children Cait (Brandon), Jenny (Brent), Colin and Rory; Uncle Don and Aunt Nora and their children Jess, Jason (and their families) and Jig (mentioned above); Dad Skip Fennessy (Hazel) and many close friends.

Tim spent 27 years in a wheelchair but never did that hamper his spirts or stop him from living an active, independent life. He loved the mountains and spent many days exploring with Debbie and spent much of their time on the Mallard ranch where he was always at home and loved spending his time. He loved his mom dearly and was very faithful to her when she was alive as he would travel home from the city every weekend to visit her up until the time of her passing.

Tim always chose to see his glass half full and tried to keep a positive outlook on life. The way he lived his life reflected this outlook.

A Celebration of Life will be held during the Sam Steele Days weekend in Cranbrook, British Columbia, Saturday, June 16, 2018.
