Donavon Coones age 86 died quietly in his home in Calgary on Saturday, December 8th, 2018 after an ongoing struggle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Patricia in Calgary; son, Darwin in North Battleford, SK; sisters, Delores (Ed) Gherasim and Denise (Doug) Rogan; his special Aunt Dorothy Powel; brother-in-law, Allan Rafuse; sisters-in-law, Pearl Lehman (Walter) and Grace Punter; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Don was predeceased by his sons, Darryl and Darren and brother, Dale.
